Findings of a first (quick) usability check
Advantages:
- Downloading songs is a good function and made easy to access
- Options menu does not have many subsections, therefore everything is accesible directls (however, this can also be overwhleming -> no right or wrong way to do it?!)--> Self-descriptiveness, suitability for learning
- You want to find a specific song and you know the interpret, but not the song’s name and the album
-> You can find songs without proper spelling! -> Therefore, you don't have to go to the artist page and search in every single album for the specific song anymore.
- Now there is even a lyrics search function embedded in the normal searchbar
-> works only for new songs, when Spotify embedded the lyrics in the song
Disadvantages:
- Privacy:
-> you can, but just for 6 hours inactivity -> you cannot put your person on private
